On the right is the PDA and the left is the CMA. I plated the moldy banana stem and fresh orange peel here. The PDA has more colonies and looks bigger from the other side when compared to the CMA. The banana stem are the yellowish colonies while the white colonies are the orange peel. The PDA looks like the favored media because of its faster growth and more colonies. Also I had to take backside photos for all my samples/pictures (which I didn’t mention for the leaf one), because there was too much condensation.
