Here I have plated samples of an aloe vera plant leaf. The CMA is showing growth of brown coloured dots of fungi. The PDA is showing growth of a black and white fungus that is taking over a lot more of the plate. While the CMA is showing very unique growth, I would say the PDA is a better media since the growth is much more extensive.
