I chose to sample leaves of an aloe vera plant that have been sitting in my kitchen for a few weeks now. Some of the leaves are starting to show signs go browning which is why I chose to sample this plant. I hope to see some signs of fungal growth, it may be low since the leaves had just started to brown.
