This mushroom was found on growing from the soil off the trail of a forest park. It has a large yellow convex cap covered with warts. There is a pendant partial veil and the gills are close. The gill edges are entire and the cap margin is smooth. This mushroom is an Amanita mushroom based on these observed features, most likely A. muscaria which has the same wart arrangement despite the different colours.
