This is a photo of a soil sample found on a balcony. It does not show any form of fungi growing on it (the tissue is healthy), however I always thought that fungi would grow the most in soils or places where plants/trees would grow. Therefore, it would be interesting to see whether or not fungi would grow on this one. Since the pot has been outside and exposed to air, I would expect moderate amounts of fungi to grow on it especially since it had plants growing from it. However, this all depends on whether or not nutrients are in the soil that allow for the growth of fungi.
