On this plate, for sample 1, there is a pinecone collected from a pine tree, sample 2 is Moss growing on a tree and sample 3 is a maple leaf collected from a maple tree. All the samples are growing much more rapidly on PDA than CMA. There is more established growth on the PDA as well. Given that there is controlled growth on CMA and the fungi has not grown overtop one another (minimal contamination), I would elect to say that CMA is better as a growth media for these samples.
