The source of this growth is from a mushy blackberry that I rubbed on the media on both plates. On the left is the CMA plate (with the black star) and on the right is the PDA plate (with the red star). This fungi appears to prefer growing on the PDA media as it has more growth, which is evident by the more space it is taking up on the plate and its darker colour compared to the CMA plate. As a result, it appears that PDA is a better media for this fungus.
