On the left section of both plates is a sample of brown lemon skin. The right section of both plates contains a healthy lemon skin with no visible signs of damage. The left plate is PDA and right side is CMA. Both plates appear to have the same type of growth: the unhealthy lemon skin (left sections) have white fuzzy dots growing all over the lemon skin with a bit of black mold on the edges of the lemon skin. The healthy lemon skins (right sections) on both media types have fuzzy mold growing all over the skin, with one spec of black mold. The CMA appears do be doing only slightly better, because the edges around the lemon skins are slightly wider than the PDA media.
