Found in a trail by the creek growing on a small piece of bark.
The cap shape is ovoid. The cap margin is crenate. The cap surface is rugulose (w/ fine wrinkles). The partial veil is N/A. The gill attachment is free (hard to see in picture). The gill breadth is narrow. The gill thickness is average. The gill spacing is distant. The gill edges is even. The stem is central. The shape of the stem is radicating. The bulbs and volvas is N/A. The stem surface is smooth.
This mushroom looks most like Mycenoid epipterygia. However, the cap shape in this mushroom is more ovoid than parabolic and the colouration on the cap is brownish on some place while M. epiptergia is yellowish grey.
