This mushroom was found at a park near my house and was growing on a field of grass near a tree. Cap shape is flat and has striate cap margins. Cap surface is fibrillose and this mushroom lacks a partial veil. Gill attachments are free with distant spacing and average spacing. Gill breadth is broad and has eroded edges. Stem is located centrally and stem shape is equal with a fibrous stem surface. No visible bulb. This species looks like Inocybe chondroderma because of the golden brown cap and brown gills, except it does not have a umbonate cap.
